Mushroom and spinach soup

1 packet of white button mushrooms--chopped
1 small bunch of spinach--chopped
12 cloves of garlic--chopped
2 tbsp oil
 salt and white pepper powder--to taste

1. On a high flame, heat the oil in a deep pan, add garlic to it,
saute for a minute, add the mushrooms and saute for a minute.

2. Then add spinach; continue stirring on high flame.

3. Once the spinach has softened a bit, add 5 cups of water, bring to
a boil; add salt and white pepper powder, boil for a further 3
min or so and it is ready to serve.

Note: Cornflour may be added to thicken the soup at the same time
that salt and white pepper is added. Previous  Home
