To avoid plastic waste we do not give out carry bags. Please bring your own BAGS to take your provisions home. Pl also bring CONTAINERS to buy oils. We do not pre-pack oils.

Our shop is the nucleus of reStore's community-based efforts to enable sustainable lifestyles among urban citizens. It'is maintained and run largely by volunteers. The display boards, product labels, and the painting on shelving and walls are all the result of their creative and fun-filled projects.
BAZAARS: On Tuesdays and Saturdays fresh fruits and vegetables are on sale in addition to groceries and hence our shop sees a “buzz”aar of activity. Volunteers and staff start working from morning, traveling for more than an hour to pick up the day’s vegetables and fruits, just arrived after an overnight journey from various farms. These are brought back to the shop where the job of weighing in, sorting, cleaning and laying out in baskets is done just in time for customers as they start sauntering in, usually well ahead of the bazaar start time!
Shopping at reStore is not merely a commercial transaction. It's a place to:

d. volunteer – help bring Local Organic foods to your own and others’ tables.
1. Coming to Adyar from Raj-bhavan/ Guindy turn right at 3rd Cross Rd., Kasturba Nagar (at the Ambika Appalam Depot signal). Note: If coming from the Adyar signal/Mylapore side: Turn left at this signal
2. Take the next right (road opposite Nilgiris supermarket / Sony) on to 2nd Main Rd. No. 27/10 is about half way down the street on the left, opposite the Eye Clinic of Dr. A. G. Ramesh. There’s a small reStore sign-board on the gate, and our shop is in the garage of this independent house.
